Upcoming releases of Google Chrome will no longer trust certain Symantec, Thawte, GeoTrust, and RapidSSL SSL/TLS certificates. Chrome users will see “Not Secure” in the address bar when connecting to websites using a distrusted certificate.
We recommend reissuing your Symantec, Thawte, GeoTrust, and RapidSSL certificates by July 20, 2018—which is the first Canary release date for Chrome 70. If you’d like more details, go here.
